Inside the Pig-N-Whistle
This past weekend was the annual Ride for AGAPE motorcycle ride. We always help out with that, usually by working one of the stops. This year, Jaylin and I were back at the Pig-N-Whistle restaurant, while Laura and a friend of ours were at another stop.
Last year, the restaurant was closed while we were there. And technically it was closed again this year as well. But it was cold out, and some of the workers had started to arrive, so they let Jaylin and me come inside to wait. And they let everyone else come in and use the restroom, too. Nice folks.
So this time, I got a picture from inside the restaurant to go along with the outside pictures I already had. Sorry for the slight blur - it was dark inside, and this was a handheld shot.

Last week, the temperatures here reached 90 degrees. Sunny. Warm. Pleasant. My kind of weather.
This week, it’s completely different. Yesterday, it didn’t get out of the 50s. Today it should get up into the 60s, but then the low tonight is back down into the 40s. Cold. Really cold. Did I mention the cold?
Last week, we were wearing short sleeve shirts and no jackets. We had the windows down in the car, or the air conditioner on.
This week, we have long sleeve shirts and coats on. We even turned our heater back on at home. In mid-May.
Last week, you didn’t have to wonder if you should take a jacket with you when leaving in the morning.
This week, I guess you don’t have to wonder, either. Except that last week was no and this week is yes.
They say that if you don’t like the weather around here, just wait a day or two.
I want my Global Warming back.
