Fall Afternoon

Fall afternoon

Fall afternoons seem to come much earlier in Standard Time than they did during Daylight Savings Time. Of course, that is because they are earlier, both because of the time change and because of the days growing shorter. So afternoon views like this are hard to come by. And then if you get off of work at 5:00 PM, by the time you get home views like this are long gone. Nothing like getting home after dark. Oh well, at least we can take a photo on a Saturday afternoon, right?

I do still love Standard Time, especially when the sun comes up earlier in the morning. But I definitely can see how people who suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder are bothered by the sun going down so early. Personally, it just makes me want to go home and sit on the couch. Which isn’t necessarily that much of a problem during football season. Hmm, maybe the early sunset isn’t such a bad thing, after all.
