A boat stops at the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World in the early evening after sailing across Seven Seas Lagoon, taking passengers to and from the park.
While we were on one of our walks around Seven Seas Lagoon at Walt Disney World, I stopped to get a photo of the boat docked there, with the lights from the boat and from the dock reflecting in the water. It was a pretty nice scene, and this photo captures it pretty well.
And even after all of these years of visiting, I am still fascinated by the fact that they have boats at Walt Disney World to take you from one place to the next. That just goes to show the size of the place. And besides, there aren’t any places around where I live that offer boat transportation. That is probably due to the fact that we aren’t near major bodies of water. Yes, we are relatively close to the Mississippi River, but we don’t usually go anywhere up and down the river to another city.
So when I was in Bangkok, I was also fascinated to see that boats are used to transport people there (see the Getting Around in Bangkok video if you haven’t already). Just like at Walt Disney World. Cool.
Many plans are in a man’s heart, but the Lord’s decree will prevail. - Proverbs 19:21
About the photo:
This was just a simple single exposure shot. I did use the railing around the lagoon to steady the camera just a bit. And then I did clean up the noise due to the slightly higher ISO in Photoshop, too.
A single RAW exposure, processed in Photoshop. Read more about the photo software and gear I use at the camera gear page.
